Redevelopment of Linden Street
The Needham Housing Authority's (NHA) mission is to provide decent, safe, and affordable housing for low to moderate income families and individuals and to offer programs and resources to improve the quality of life for residents, program participants and the broader Needham community while respecting the rights and privacy of all. In 2021, NHA launched its Preservation & Redevelopment Initiative (PRI), a 10+ year initiative to fully recapitalize and redevelop the NHA’s housing portfolio. The Redevelopment of Linden & Chambers Streets is a key component of the PRI to provide new, efficient, healthy, and beautiful units and to meet the Town's overwhelming demand for more affordable housing. NHA is led by Cheryl Gosmon, Executive Director, Reg Foster, NHA Board Chair, and NHA Commissioners Eleanor Evans, Ed Scheideler, Penny Kirk, and Janice Bennett.
